Meet our amazing support staff!

Whether it's booking your appointment, checking you in with a smile and a beverage, or helping you choose the perfect gift, our support staff helps to make the Urban Waxx experience so special. Meet them all below...

Cody Lucchesi

Cody, or Mr. Waxx, is the Director of Operations and the "man behind Urban Waxx." His years of experience as a professionally trained Chef have taught him to be exceedingly organized, calm, and able to get stuff done. Without Cody, things would not be running so smoothly and Shannon would probably be in a straightjacket! Cody is also the world's best Dad to Stella and Dino, an avid food and restaurant blogger, and an all around amazing guy!

Kimberley Catchpole

Calm, cool, and collected are just a few of the words used to describe our Manager. Also known as Shannon's right hand gal, Kim defines grace under pressure. No matter what the situation, Kim remains unflappable, and greets every guest with a warm smile. She is also responsible for all of the training for our terrific front desk team, insuring that each and every guest has an amazing experience. When she's not perfecting the Urban Waxx flow, she's finishing her degree. Her dream job? Director of Public Relations at Urban Waxx, of course!

Katie Smith

Katie is our resident Mother Hen. Maybe it's the years of childcare working as a nanny that she has under her belt, but Katie is always ready with a hug and a kind word. She loves to spend time with her family and friends, bake delicious goodies and...her most favorite activity of all...talk! That may be one of the reasons that she is so perfect at the front desk! Chatty, silly, and always in the know are a just a few ways to describe our Katie.

Angie Shu Gibson

Angie (or Shoe as she's known to her friends) is a seriously stylish addition to our front desk. Maybe it's her nickname, but this gal has a bit of a shoe fetish. When she's not trying on the latest pair or playing tennis or soccer, this recent PSU grad is planning her upcoming wedding! Hmm, we wonder what she'll be wearing on her tootsies for the big day?

Claire Stanton

Claire is our happy wanderer. This sweet gal loves to travel, and her favorite countries (so far) are New Zealand and Thailand. Claire studied Psychology at the University of Oregon, and she loves to help people. We think that makes her the perfect fit at the front desk; answering private client questions with kindness and compassion is her specialty! On her off time Claire chills with her boyfriend and her KKG sorority sisters, doing her favorite things: listening to classic rock and enjoying some pizza and beer!

Kristin Johnson

This Olympia, WA native is the perfect addition to our front desk team. As the oldest of a family of 8 children, she knows how to get things done, keep the peace and play well with others! Kristen loves to travel, spend time with her (large) family, and she has practiced dance her entire life (ballet is her passion). By day she is the Student Body Secretary of the University of Portland while finishing her undergrad in political science. By night, she searches for the best vegetarian restaurant in Portland, and then works it off with some yoga and running! We are so pleased that Kristin has decided to join our Urban Waxx family! I guess she didn't have enough sisters!!

Sarum Plork

This Washington State University graduate is all about positive energy. She loves to laugh and smile all day, every day (her favorite colors are pink and turquoise...of course she's cheery). Her obsessions are the outdoors, cooking and baking (cupcakes are her forte), and Bikram yoga. This super friendly lady will be sure to set you at ease if you have any questions about waxing. She can even answer your queries in her native language: Cambodian!

Siobhan Kelly

Siobhan is smart, sarcastic and dependable. Learning new languages makes this Urban Waxx "recepcionista" smile. She is fluent in Spanish, and she can also speak some French and Italian. Siobhan has a B.A. in Spanish and a minor in Chemistry (wow!), and she studied abroad in Ecuador and Italy. When she is not soaking in foreign cultures, she is doing hot yoga, playing with her golden retriever mix Dante, and eating her favorite food: Italian. She has a serious sweet tooth and is obsessed with gelato! We love having a bi-lingual lady at the front to answer all of your questions en Español! ¡Hasta pronto!

Tara Flanagan

Tara has been all over the world, and she's not even 25! Although she was born in Madison, WI (cheese head!), she lived in Hong Kong for 6 years, and went to college at ASU. She's the baby in a family of four, which may have shaped her sweet, sunny disposition. Off the clock she loves spending time with her Yorkie named Tucker and her Westie named Zachary, eating Japanese food, and entertaining herself with a good, cheesy, romantic comedy. Rom-coms, sushi, and puppy love? Sounds like a pretty fun Sunday night!

Sarah Borchart

Sarah is the perfect addition to our front desk. She is a small town girl who is always looking out for others, is extremely empathetic and wears her heart on her sleeve. Originally from a little town near Pittsburgh, PA, she grew up riding horses, shooting guns and playing outside. Now she loves hiking through the woods, picking berries, jamming and canning, and basically doing anything domestic in nature. Sarah also relaxes by running long distance relay races and soaking up her favorite things: the smell of freshly cut grass, the color yellow, and the sounds of birds chirping in the morning. She has backpacked through the Grand Canyon, spent a month in Germany, and she hopes to spend a year in Australia soon!

Sarah Smith

This OSU graduate may look like a sweet little thang, but she loves rap and hip-hop music and any and every crime related television show. She spends her summer days looking for fun places to sit in the sun and enjoy happy hour, and she loves to cook. Currently she is trying to create the perfect Vietnamese sandwich. Sarah loves to travel, especially to Washington DC to see her boyfriend and Thailand where she taught English for 4 months. Sarah's biggest obsession: scarves! She is firmly convinced that they make any outfit happier! We couldn't agree more!
